Turn your bathroom into a personal Spa

After a long day at work, there’s nothing better for your body and mind than a visit to a Spa.  However after a long day at workmost would rather skip the pricey trip and just stay warm at home. So, why not turn your bathroom into an a personal spa at home?
Your bathroom offers the perfect private space where you can take a hot steamy shower or a nice relaxing  bath to soak away all your days stresses. It does not have to cost the earth either, All it takes is a few more elements to evoke the spa-like atmosphere. Fortunately you do not need a big space to make this happen.

Create warmth under foot

Create a warm feeling with Wood effect tiles with under floor heating.Although wood flooring can give the feeling of peace and warmth, it’s never an ideal material for wet areas. Fortunately, thanks to today's technology, we now have the perfect solution.Wood effect tile is a ceramic or porcelain tile that imitates the natural textures of wood. It not only has a higher resistance to water, but also comes in a variety of patterns and colours.

A deep bath
You do not need a large bathroom to have a deep bath installed. Baths are available in a vast range of styles, shapes and sizes. You can even get short baths to fit in the smallest of bathrooms that are deep enough to sit submerged up to your neck. Walk in baths are also available for easy access. See our website for more information on bathroom suites and accessories.
Fresh warm towels
No one would like to step out of a nice, healing hot bath or shower with cold towels, especially during the winter. There’s no better way than indulging yourself in comfy, warm fresh towel.
There is many ways of warming up your towels while relaxing in your home spa. You can enjoy the cozy warmth within reach by installing a free standing towel rail next to your bath or shower, have a wall hung towel rail within reach. Towel warming drawers in vanity units are fast becoming a trend if you have the space.   Personally I find towel rails to be most practical, not only as they use up less space, but they heat the towels quickly and are easily within reach. Don't forget to warm your bath robe and have your slippers/sandals ready for leaving your warm bathroom.
Smell
Ever wondered why Spa's always have strong scents. Scents are famous for boosting your health and mood. For instance, the easiest and fastest way to wake our brains up in the morning is showering with peppermint-scented soap. Where as Lavender and jasmine are excellent for before bed.  Scented candles in the bathroom is an easy but effective way to enhance your mood and help you to relax.
Music
Let’s face it. Taking a long soak in the tub can be somewhat boring. Leave your phone outside the door, use this time to switch of from the world. But, relaxing music for most people is the perfect way to unwind and forget about your worries. Bathroom speakers are coming in all shapes and sizes including bluetooth technology meaning no need for any installation.
Ice bucket
How about a stylish bucket next to your bath full of ice to keep a bottle of your favorite drink in. Champagne, wine or just a nice fresh bottle of cold water to keep you hydrated during your relaxation session.
