Installation

Getting your wet-room installed properly is essential. There is a lot more prep work involved in installing a wet-room to a standard tiled bathroom. Your floor and walls have to be fully prepped and tanked using the correct materials, We use Jackoboard which can be formed to any shape or size. As you can see from the images below, the possibilities in your wet-room are endless. From wet floors, fully tiled curved walls, boxed in baths, shelves, to fully tiled curved shower benches.

Quality wet-room installation

The key to the life and success of any wet room or walk in shower is sound preparation and waterproofing of the floor and walls that will come into contact with the water. Waterproofing of the floor (and walls) is achieved by using a tanking kit. Under-floor heating can be added as an optional extra before a self levelling screed is poured. Self levelling clips can be used for large format or plank tiles to guarantee a lip free finish.
